Lovely, and there is always something. I also feel prickly when I've harbored too much resentment for what I've been exposed to in the news and with our current state of affairs. Moral outrage is draining and exhausting. Long walks, good books, my sweet shepherd and the kindness of others is medicine.

I asked myself that question a few days ago. Hmmm…what sort of noise are you making in this world?

The question rose after pondering the thought of “if a tree fell in the forest and no one saw it happen, did it make a noise?”

At the moment, I am a vibration. Working towards the noise. 🙏

Paul, I consider your writings and your photographs "good noise" in this world. Thank you for it all.

Jeanne, thank you for that! My photography is my most fluent language, but I press on with my writing, in hopes that it feels as natural someday.

I'm so glad you continue to feel compelled to encourage, educate, and motivate!! You're love of nature (from the largest to the tiniest) has taught me the gift to slow down and appreciate all that nature has hidden for us ....often in plain sight.

I think that you're correct with this philosophy. Thank you J. Paul.

We go to music festivals out here in NorCal. I believe these are an extension of the spirit, hopes, and intentions of hippie community that catalyzed around the Summer of Love and the Gathering of the Tribes at Golden Gate Park in 1967. One in particular, the Strawberry Music Festival in Grass Valley, CA., promotes an idea that we call the Strawberry Way. You'd be very welcomed there. If you're ever in this neck of the woods you could check it out.

Thank you! It sounds like you have a wonderful, supportive community. I struggle to find this where I live, although, as much time as I spend alone in nature, or in my garden, I am not actively seeking it out.
